These hickory shafts cost a little more than you might pay elsewhere; they are superior because the grain is straight, which allows the CNC route/lath to shape them just right. The result is stronger more robust shaft for your drivers and clubs. Also, the finished surface is very smooth, which does not need sanding before adding stain and Tru-Oil.
